Website Design for Primestack Motivo
A clean, immersive UI/UX experience built to showcase architectural excellence and build client trust through visual storytelling.
To create a website that truly reflects the essence of Primestack Motivo, I began by engaging in a detailed discussion with the company’s founder. This initial consultation provided valuable insight into the firm’s vision, core values, and specific goals for the website. These insights served as the foundation for shaping both the user interface and user experience.
The primary objective of the website was to establish credibility and foster trust among potential clients by showcasing the firm’s architectural portfolio. To achieve this, the design emphasizes visual storytelling through a clean layout that highlights large, high-quality images of the firm’s work. This approach not only reinforces Primestack Motivo’s expertise but also provides visitors with an immersive and engaging browsing experience.
Before designing the website, I developed a sitemap, a visual representation of the website’s structure. A well-planned sitemap is crucial as it organizes content logically, enhances user experience, and makes navigation seamless. This step provided a clear roadmap of what the website should and shouldn’t contain.
For the website design, I employed two complementary typefaces: Ubuntu and Poppins. Ubuntu was chosen for headings due to its rounded, friendly letterforms that convey approachability and warmth—qualities that align with Primestack Motivo’s desire to appear trustworthy and relatable to clients. In contrast, Poppins was used for body text because of its geometric simplicity and excellent readability, providing a clean, modern counterbalance to Ubuntu’s curves
To reinforce a sense of trust, reliability, and professionalism, blue was selected as the dominant brand color and prominently featured throughout the website. The color palette includes deep blue, sky blue, white, and light grey, creating a balanced and visually cohesive design.
Blue, often associated with stability and confidence, was intentionally used to resonate with potential clients on a psychological level. The combination of these tones not only enhances visual hierarchy but also supports the brand’s objective of appearing credible, modern, and approachable.
I ensured the website was fully responsive to provide a smooth and intuitive experience across different screen sizes. Whether users access it on a smartphone, or desktop, the layout, navigation, and visual elements adapt seamlessly to maintain usability and clarity.
